How the Application Process Works

The first step is to select the insurance plan for you and complete the online application request.

The second step is to sign the paper application copy we will send to you via US Mail or email. The exam service will collect this from you.

The third step is to set an appointment with our national examining service for a paramedical exam. The examiner will be contacting you in the next couple of days. They will come to your home or office or you can meet them at their office in your area. There is no expense to you. The insurance company pays for it whether or not you accept the policy offered. Be sure to have the paper application available for the examiner.

The forth step is the actual underwriting process. It usually takes between three and four weeks before approval, but can be shorter or longer, depending upon your medical history and the underwriter's ability to acquire everything they need to reach a decision.

The fifth step is reviewing the policy and paying the premium to place the coverage in force.
